If
you are seeking a stronger alternative to a tension shower rod -
and do not want to drill into your tile - the adjustable shower
rod is the answer. The rod itself is a 1" diameter brass tubing plated in a number of finishes. The rod is used with adjustable wall flanges to give you a complete unit. The wall side of the flanges are in rubber, to prevent scratching or damage to the walls. The shower rod is inserted in both ends of the holders. To increase the tension, simply turn the larger holder. The dimensions of the holders are: 1 7/8" diameter - base of the holders The overall height for the large side is 1 7/8" and it extends to 2 1/4". The overall height of the small side is 7/8". If a smaller size is needed, the shower rod can be easily cut down. Available in a variety of finishes. |
